The Authority of Cumberland County, issued the following announcement.
We have some busy bees out in the county, If you see one of our No Mow May signs, know that our early season pollinators have found a new habitat.
Studies show that by participating in No Mow May, you can have a three-times higher bee species richness and five-times higher bee abundance than properties that have been mowed.
