Cumberland County’s nine coaches earned an average salary of $7,720 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at New Jersey post-secondary schools during 2022.

Cumberland County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $7,290 on average in Cumberland County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $8,580.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
