Congratulations to Jack Rivera, the first recipient of the Dan Hill Memorial Scholarship.
The Scholarship was created in honor of Dan Hill, a courageous and resilient young man who, for eight years, battled osteosarcoma. During that time, Dan would become a student at RCSJ. Dan was diligent in his studies and accumulated a 4.0 grade point average while attending RCSJ. Sadly, Dan passed away on December 24, 2021 before he could officially graduate. At the RCSJ 2022 Commencement ceremony, Dan was awarded an associate degree posthumously.
