A CCTEC Junior, Samantha Slimmer, won the 2022 Trade Champions Challenge provided by Stanley Black & Decker & Discovery Education.
As the first-place winner, Samantha will receive a cash prize as well as a Stanley Black & Decker prize pack.
Participants had to create a short video about their aspiration to be a professional in their trade and/or the reason they are passionate about the trade they are currently working in. Samantha, with the help of peers and teachers, created a video about the construction trades with her project "The Future of Construction."
