On Saturday, March 8, former Vineland High School standout Victoria Negron’s current college team, the New York Violets, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.

The game took place at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.

The Violets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium against Salisbury Sea Gulls.
