On Saturday, March 15, former Vineland High School standout Xavier Cortez’s current college team, the Wilmington Wildcats, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the IUP Crimson Hawks.
The game took place at Wilson Field at Jim Sherman Sr. Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Crimson Hawks this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 12 p.m. at Wilson Field at Jim Sherman Sr. Stadium against Bridgeport Purple Knights.
