On Friday, Feb. 21, former Vineland High School standout Xavier Cortez’s current college team, the Wilmington Wildcats, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Franklin Pierce Ravens.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their second matchup against the Ravens this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against New Haven Chargers.
